Bev and Gerd
The owners Bev and Gerd Voigt are a couple who have always enjoyed nature and animals. They have enjoyed transforming the Ranch from bare land with ‘open fields & old barbed wire fences’ to the wonderful Horse Ranch it is today. Bev has been a horseperson her entire life and has built a couple of other houses and horse-properties. She is also a Realtor. Gerd has adjusted well from his previous career as a Chef and owning his own Restaurants. Both have invested their passions into the Ranch and enjoy sharing it and the horses and with others.
“We are quite a ‘relaxed facility’ and love having people enjoy these wonderful animals that roam and graze freely on our Ranch,” Bev says
Allison
Our Head Coach and Manager of the lesson program is Allison Watters.
Allison is a Registered Coach who’s teaching methods embrace effective communication through the model of Equitation Science. She teaches her lessons from a knowledge of biomechanics for both horse and rider. Allison has been educating riders for the past ten years both on Vancouver Island and the lower mainland.
As a person who has worked with horses her entire life, Allison can offer a diverse program for you and your horse. She specializes in Dressage and has extensive training in Jumping, Western, Natural Horsemanship, and has begun an education in Working Equitation.
